This guide shows how to replace the front fog light bulb on a Volkswagen Golf Mk5. The first step is to disconnect the battery. From the front of the vehicle, unscrew the fixing screw of the fog light cover grille and remove the piece.

Next, unscrew the three Torx T20 screws and gently pull out the light unit. Disconnect the electrical connector for better access to the part.

Remove the bulb from the light by turning the holder counterclockwise. Insert the new bulb without touching the glass with your hands and use compatible models.

Reassemble everything and check the correct operation of the light.
