Replacing the key battery of a Volkswagen Touareg is straightforward. Obtain a sharp or flat tool, such as a plastic wedge or flathead screwdriver, and pry in the central slot of the remote to remove the cover as shown in the video. Voila! At this point, you have located the battery and can easily remove it with your fingers and insert the new one you purchased. To reattach the cover, simply press it back into place. Check the key's proper functioning.
