In today's tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the DSG automatic gear knob of the Volkswagen Golf, as well as on all other models of the Volkswagen group (Seat, Skoda, Audi). First, get inside the vehicle and start by removing the gear knob; use a thin plastic lever to remove the central cover of the knob, then remove the two side covers as shown in the video.

At this point, replace the plastic parts of the knob with new ones of the correct type; secure them properly onto the gear lever!
