How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Volkswagen Touran?

To replace the fuel pump on a Volkswagen Touran, lift the rear seats by pulling the lever located on the side of the seat and then grasping the handle on the backrest. Once the seat is removed, detach the pins underneath that secure the carpet to the seats: by lifting the carpet, you will access the pump below, which must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the connectors and unscrewing the bolts. This will allow you to extract the old pump and replace it with a new spare part.
