Volkswagen Jetta - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Jetta
MK 5, A5
- Years 2005-2010 Let's find out in this guide the steps that will allow us to empty the fuel tank, in an emergency, of the Volkswagen Jetta, with TDI engine, without removing the tank or the fuel pump. First of all, open the bonnet and get a container and a hose to drain the fuel; what we are going to do is disconnect the fuel delivery pipe, and then turn the starter motor to begin draining all the fuel contained inside the tank. Finally we connect the hose and refuel to start the engine!

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
