How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on the Volkswagen Taos/Tiguan

To replace the cabin air filter in the vehicle, follow these instructions: access the cabin and sit in the passenger seat, then open the glove compartment and to fully open and flip it down, release the latches located on the sides of the compartment. At the back of the compartment is the cover for the filter housing; therefore, unclip the cover that is secured with clips, and access the area containing the filter. Remove the filter and take the new one to place it in the housing, paying attention to the direction of the airflow (see the arrow indication). Finally, close the cover and the glove compartment.
