The fuse box locations for the Volkswagen Golf 5 are found in two places: the first is inside the cabin, between the steering wheel and the driver's door, by removing the side plastic cover with a flat screwdriver or another flat tool. The second fuse box is located within the front engine compartment, to the right of the battery housing.

To open the box, you need to unlock the two clips on the top and then remove the cover. The internal diagram for the fuse locations is always present on the inside of the cover.
