How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen New Beetle

In this tutorial video, you will see how to reset the maintenance light on a Volkswagen New Beetle. When the service light comes on, the first thing to do is perform maintenance, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY service, get in the car and with the key removed, press and hold the trip odometer button located under the speedometer. Now, turn on the ignition, and the service spanner will appear on the display. Release the trip odometer button and press it again until the spanner disappears. At this point, remove the key, then reinsert it and turn on the ignition to check that the operation was successful.
