If you need to deactivate the passenger airbag in your car to install a child seat on the passenger seat, it is essential to do so. First, access the cabin, sit in the driver's seat, open the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat, and on the left, you will find the ignition key slot and the airbag deactivation switch. Insert the key into the lock and turn it to off. This will deactivate the passenger airbag. You can then start the car, and the indicator for the passenger airbag off will light up on the upper central console.
