On models from the Volkswagen group, including Audi and Seat, the procedure to deactivate the passenger airbag is the same. The passenger airbag should only be deactivated if you intend to install a child seat, which is very important. To deactivate the airbag, open the glove compartment, and at the top, you will find the "on" "off" switch. Using the same key as the ignition, turn the switch to "off"; at this point, the airbag will be deactivated, and when you start the engine, the central console will display the indication "airbag off".
