Front Hub Bearing Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

If the front hub bearing is damaged, you will hear noise coming from the wheel (especially when turning), and if the damage is significant, the wheel may have play, compromising steering safety. To replace this bearing, lift the vehicle, remove the wheel, the complete brake caliper with its support, and the central nut securing the driveshaft to extract it; also remove the brake disc and the bolts securing the wishbone to the hub: at this point, you can complete the removal of the hub carrier from its support. Proceed in reverse for the installation of the new hub complete with bearing.
