Volkswagen Jetta - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Jetta
A5, MK 5
- Years 2005-2010 In the event of damage to the front hub bearing, noise will be heard coming from the wheel (especially when cornering) and if the damage is significant, the wheel itself could have some play, compromising steering safety. To replace this bearing, lift the car, remove the wheel, the brake caliper complete with its support and the central nut fixing the axle shaft so that it can be extracted; also remove the brake disc and the nuts fixing the oscillating arm head to the hub: at this point it is possible to complete the disassembly of the bearing holder hub from its support. Then proceed backwards to install the new hub complete with bearing.
