How to Replace the Air Filter in a Volkswagen Golf

Regularly replacing the air filter helps to optimally safeguard the health of your engine, preventing dangerous overheating and other issues. To perform the replacement, first ensure the engine is off and has cooled down sufficiently. Then, lift the front bonnet and locate the plastic box containing the air filter, situated in the lower right corner of the engine bay. Unscrew the screws with a suitable screwdriver and remove the top cover. Now, simply remove the old filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, reposition the cover and screw the screws back in.
