This short video tutorial shows how to replace the air filter on a seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf, produced from 2012 to 2019. First, disconnect the air intake and outlet hoses from the filter housing, then remove the filter housing from its location as shown in the video. Next, open the filter housing by unscrewing the two cross-head screws underneath and releasing the four clips that hold it closed. Once opened, remove the old air filter and replace it with a new one.
