How to Change the AdBlue in Volkswagen Vehicles

Model: Volkswagen Volkswagen Various
Part: AdBlue warning light

Video tutorial

AdBlue is a special chemical additive that has been introduced in vehicles equipped with Diesel engines for several years. Its main function is to reduce pollution levels, making it essential to refill the corresponding tank after a certain number of miles driven.

In Volkswagen cars, the entire operation is very simple and takes just a couple of minutes. First, obtain a canister of AdBlue compatible with your car, then, with the engine off, go to the rear and lift the bonnet.

Locate a small cover on the left side and remove it to access the AdBlue cap. Unscrew the cap and finally pour in the new AdBlue using a funnel or rubber hose.
