To replace the cabin filter on a Volkswagen Golf 7, open the glove compartment located on the passenger side so that the clips inside can be detached. By removing these clips, the glove compartment will lower completely, allowing access to the cover at the back. There will be a cover that can be detached, and the filter inside can be pulled out from its housing. At this point, you can insert the new filter, close it with the cover, and reattach the glove compartment.
