The tracker is a GPS locator equipped with a SIM card that can provide the vehicle's location coordinates via SMS. DIY installation is certainly the best option as it is advisable that only the vehicle owner knows both the device and its location. Once the SIM card is inserted, installation is limited to positioning the tracker, obviously in a hard-to-reach spot, and connecting the power cables. In this case, the device was placed behind the air duct (it was necessary to remove the glove compartment) and the power was taken from the car radio.
