If you want to replace the battery inside the smart key of your Volkswagen Arteon Mk1, simply follow the instructions in this guide. First, take the key and locate the button on the back of the cover.

Press it down while simultaneously pulling out the emergency key. Next, insert the emergency key into the side slot and apply a slight upward push to detach the rear cover. Finally, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one.
