Replacement of Oil Level Dipstick Guide

The breakage of the terminal plastic part of the conduit where the dipstick for checking the engine oil level is housed is a fairly common fault in Volkswagens, as it is made of plastic and tends to deteriorate over time until it crumbles: however, a replacement part is available for the repair; extract the dipstick and then remove the plastic part located just behind the dipstick where it is attached; remove the plastic tube connected to the metal part, taking care not to leave any debris inside; insert the new plastic element first into its support and then into the metal tube before securing everything.
