Clutch and Flywheel Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T25, T3, MK 3 - Years 1979-1990

Replacing the clutch and flywheel requires good general mechanical knowledge and some tools; apply the outer o-ring and the central guide bearing at the rear of the flywheel before securing it to the crankshaft by tightening the respective fixing bolts on the central flange, preventing the flywheel from rotating to achieve the correct torque; clean the flywheel surface thoroughly to remove any oil residue, then fit the clutch disc by tightening the respective fixing bolts; insert the alignment dowels of the gearbox and install the latter.
