Operation: How to replace gearbox oil on Volkswagen Golf 7

Open the bonnet, locate the box with the air filter and unhook the sensors and connection cables, unhook the clamp connecting the engine air supply hose, then extract the entire air filter box together with the supply pipes. Lift the battery cover and disconnect it (always disconnect the negative pole first) and take out the battery. Using a socket wrench, remove the battery base plate by unscrewing the 4 fixing bolts. At that point we will have access to the compartment where there is the oil filter and the heat exchanger. Disassemble the oil filter cap and extract the filter. Replace the oil filter and also replace the O-ring on the cap but not before having lubricated it with a drop of oil. Refit the filter cap and tighten it with a socket wrench. Lift the car and access the area below the engine, unscrew the fixing screws of the engine cover and locate the gearbox oil drain plug. Unscrew the cap with a 14 mm wrench after placing a pan to collect the used oil. Insert an 8 wrench to unscrew the overflow tube that is inside the tank, Screw the flange for the rubber tube to the overflow tube with which I will proceed to fill the tank with new oil and then screw the overflow pipe. Take the new oil cans (check the specifications of the oil to be used). Pour the six liters of oil into the rubber tube and fill it. Finally, repeat in reverse all the operations carried out by reassembling the battery holder, the battery and the air filter. To carry out a test, start the car, and select the 4 automatic gearbox selections for a few seconds.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
