If during the gear change the gear lever tends to stick, it is likely that some play has been created in the coupling between the pin and the plate that supports the gear cables: there is a modification kit that requires the replacement of the original plate with a steel one and which replaces the gear cable fixing bushings with clamps. Then disconnect the gear cables from the plate and remove the plate itself, remove the eyelets from the gear cables and proceed with the installation of the new kit, inserting the cables in the appropriate terminals; before tightening the dowels, unhook the gear lever boot, lift the sound-absorbing coating and insert a centering pin in the appropriate holes to keep the gear lever in a perfectly centered position: at this point, tighten the dowels to fix the gear cables .
