Then disconnect the gear cables from the plate and remove the plate itself, remove the eyelets from the gear cables and proceed with the installation of the new kit, inserting the cables in the appropriate terminals; before tightening the dowels, unhook the gear lever boot, lift the sound-absorbing coating and insert a centering pin in the appropriate holes to keep the gear lever in a perfectly centered position: at this point, tighten the dowels to fix the gear cables .
