Operation: How to install footwell lights in a Volkswagen Golf MK5

In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to install the footwell lights, in a Volkswagen Golf MK5-Mk6, following some simple precautions: the first thing to do is to obtain a ceiling light, (use a ceiling light obtained from the sun visors of a Volkswagen Golf 4), which we will need to make the footwell lights. This ceiling light consists of a connector with two cables: red and blue (positive) and brown and white (negative); (use a longer cable to make the footwell lights). After having housed it in its seat, we have to bring the cable, under the glovebox, up to the inside of the ashtray, we simply have to lift the cover (see video) of the gear knob, remove the rubber and thus we have access to the two screws that keep the ashtray stationary, then we need a T20 screwdriver; once this is done, we have freed the ashtray, which simply needs to be raised. Now let's see the different connectors, the cigarette lighter socket has three cables: two thicker ones which are the positive and the negative; then there is a thinner one which is gray in color (cigarette lighter bulb cable). The cable must be stripped and hooked to the red and blue cable and wrapped with insulating tape (positive). For the negative, you have to loosen the two nuts slightly, then you have to strip the brown cable and screw it under the nuts, to put it in mass. Once all the operations have been completed, the engine must be started to check correct operation.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308

If we need to change the time on this car we can follow the instructions given in this video tutorial and read the instructions below. First of all, access the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. On the right multifunction lever there are the controls with the arrows to scroll the various menu functions and scroll the various functions up to "display adjust", after which press the button behind the lever to change the time, once set the new value press again the key with the arrow indication and modify the minutes in this way the work will be completed.
