To replace the serpentine belt on a Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment. The serpentine belt is located on the left side of the engine block, at the top. By unscrewing the central bolt of the tensioner, you can remove it from its housing, allowing you to replace it with a new spare part.

Once the new belt is positioned around the pulleys, tighten the central bolt of the tensioner, ensuring the device operates correctly.
