When performing any maintenance, the first aspect to consider is whether you have all the necessary tools available; sometimes manufacturers use special tools to make aftermarket maintenance a bit more difficult. However, many of these tools can be found in specialist shops, but often it just takes some ingenuity to find alternative solutions. To remove the oil fill plug of the gearbox, a specific hex key is required, but the same result can be achieved by using a long M10 nut to fit into the corresponding socket.
