Gearbox Oil Change Instructions

Changing the gearbox oil is a maintenance task that is often overlooked and considered non-essential: however, keeping the gears running in clean oil is certainly important to reduce wear on the gears themselves and ensure smooth and quiet gear engagement. Once you remove the splash cover from under the engine bay, you can access the gearbox and locate the drain plug at the bottom and the filler plug at the front. Unscrew both nuts to allow the oil to drain, clean and refit the drain plug, then fill the gearbox with new oil: once the oil starts to flow from the filler plug, the level is reached.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Dacia Sandero, inflate all the tyres to the pressure indicated on the label on the driver's door.
