Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Touareg MK 1, 7L - Years 2002-2010

To carry out this maintenance, raise the vehicle on a lift to comfortably remove the plastic cover underneath; once you reach the oil sump, unscrew the drain plug to drain the used oil and then replace the oil filter cartridge (before unscrewing the oil filter housing cap, you can also unscrew the drain plug to drain any oil inside, but this is not essential); then extract the old cartridge and insert the new one, applying new O-ring seals lubricated with clean oil before refitting the filter; finally, fill the engine with clean oil until the correct level is reached.
