Operation: How to top up the fluids on the Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDI

We will see in this guide the steps which will allow us to top up the fluids on the Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDI. First of all, we open the bonnet of our car and start checking the coolant level; it must be on the maximum level notch (we then unscrew the cap and top up). We check the brake fluid level in the same way, topping up if necessary. Let's move on to engine oil; let's raise the bar and clean it with a dry cloth; if the level is on the tip or on the first notch, top up with oil of the same type, reaching the maximum notch!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
