OBD Interface Installation for Parameter Display

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

You can install a diagnostic interface at the OBD port to view real-time engine parameters such as temperature and boost pressure, which are displayed on a small screen that can be mounted to the air vent. First, detach the side panel of the dashboard to access the fuse box, remove the side air vent, unclip the frame, and take out the two lower flaps to create space for the display; then fit the display into the frame and insert it into the air vent, routing the cable inside; reposition the vent in the dashboard and connect the interface cable to the OBD diagnostic port: this way, you can read the parameters of interest in real-time.
