How to Replace the Battery on the Volkswagen Touareg

If you want to proceed with replacing the battery on this vehicle, take a look at the images in the video and read the instructions provided below. The battery in this car is not located in the engine bay but in the cabin under the driver's seat. First, slide the seat all the way forward and, accessing from the rear door, remove the screws securing the seat slide rail. Then, move the seat all the way back and tilt it; this will give you access to the area underneath where the battery is located. Next, disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal, and unscrew the securing plate at the base. This will allow you to remove the battery and replace it with the new one, then reattach the securing plate, connecting the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal.
