Handbrake Adjustment Instructions

To adjust the handbrake travel, you need to remove the rear part of the centre tunnel, where the armrest is attached. Start by unclipping the trim around the rear, which also has the air vents attached. Then, continue by unscrewing the various fixing screws until you can lift the armrest support and access the adjustment nut for the handbrake cable. Release the handbrake and adjust the nut until the lever rises by only three or four clicks.
