How to Change the Air Filter?

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

Is it a complex operation? Let's see how to do it in the video. Open the bonnet and focus on the left side (the driver's side), more precisely in the area immediately behind the headlamp, where the engine air filter housing is located. Using a flat-head screwdriver, unscrew the screws that secure the intake pipe. At this point, underneath, loosen the screws of the housing cover and lift it just enough to remove the dirty filter and replace it with a new one. Close the housing, ensuring everything fits well without gaps or raised parts, re-screw the screws that hold it in place, and finally reattach the intake pipe that was above.
