In this tutorial, see how to replace the radiator in a Volkswagen Golf, a very simple operation but one that requires good manual skills. First, wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then open the bonnet, remove the cap from the expansion tank, and disconnect the lower hose. Once done, drain all the coolant from the system and proceed to remove the fan. To remove the radiator, simply disconnect the remaining hoses and unscrew the relevant fixing bolts, then follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement.
