Let’s see, thanks to this very useful video guide, all the necessary steps to perform a service reset on a fourth-generation Volkswagen Polo, produced from 2001 to 2009. First, press and hold the button on the right of the speedometer, then insert the key and turn it to the first position to power on the instrument cluster without starting the engine.

After that, release the button and turn it to the right, finally switch off and switch on the instrument cluster again to complete and verify the correct reset of the service light.
