How to Replace the Headlining on a Volkswagen Golf 5?

In the Volkswagen Golf 5, it is quite common for the headlining to detach, ruining the aesthetics. Replacement is possible as a DIY task without going to a garage. To remove the old headlining, first, detach all the internal lights as shown in the video, and then also remove the seals covering all the pillars of the cabin. Now remove the upper handles and finally peel off the headlining completely, extracting it through the rear hatch. Remove all adhesive residues, attach the new headlining, and reposition all the components that were removed to extract the headlining.
