In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the headlining in a Volkswagen Golf, a simple operation but one that may take a lot of time. First, go inside the cabin, then disengage the glass of the interior light and remove it by unscrewing the relevant screws.

Next, remove both sun visors, continue by removing the covers from the front, centre, and rear pillars, and take off the various handles. At this point, simply separate the headlining from the roof by prying along the entire perimeter, install the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
