Instructions for Replacing the Fuel Pump

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018

The fuel pump is located inside the tank, and to replace it, you must first remove the rear seat base: grasp the front part of the seat and pull it upwards to unclip it; then move the carpet covering and remove the rubber plug located directly above the pump; continue by disconnecting the fuel pump connector, ensuring to unclip the safety connector without damaging the pump itself, disconnect the feed and return pipes, and finally unclip the retaining ring; then extract the old pump, retrieve the gasket to apply to the new one, and proceed in reverse for installation.
