How to Disconnect the Horn Alarm on the Volkswagen Multivan

As shown in the video, disconnecting the alarm connected to the horn is a simple and quick operation. You will need two spanners: one 10 mm and one 13 mm. The alarm is located on the passenger side. To access it, remove the seal and lift the cover where the wipers are anchored. Reach in to unscrew (using screwdrivers) the two bolts, and you're done. Once you have removed the alarm unit, you will see a connector that you need to disconnect to deactivate the alarm. It will continue to make a loud noise until it runs out of battery. To muffle the sound, wrap it in a cloth.
