How to Repair a Worn Wheel Bearing

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009
Part: Bearing

First, lift the car to remove the wheel affected by the issue. Use a flat screwdriver to remove the plastic cover and unscrew the fixing bolts.
Free the bolts on the back of the brake caliper from the dust cap, unscrew them, and then remove the caliper.
Remove the brake disc by unscrewing the two Allen screws and, if possible, disconnect the ABS sensor.
Now unscrew the central nut of the driveshaft, free the joint from the steering axis, and unscrew the bolts that secure the joint.
Proceed to replace the worn part and follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.

This procedure is suitable for the Volkswagen Polo 1.4 16v.
