- Years 2001-2009 Let's see in this tutorial how to remove and replace the rear wheel bearing of a Volkswagen Polo. First we lift the car and remove the rear wheel, unscrewing the bolts; then we go to unscrew the fixing screws of the brake caliper, using a socket wrench. At this point we unscrew the fixing screws of the brake disc and remove the latter; then we remove the hub cover and go to unscrew the central bolt with a socket wrench. We just have to extract the bearing and replace it with the new one, as shown in the video!
