How to Change the Headlight Bulbs on a Volkswagen Passat?

A headlight bulb for the Volkswagen Passat costs less than £10 and can be replaced independently without visiting a garage. First, open the bonnet and secure it. Now, remove the cover panel located above the left headlight using a screwdriver: this allows you to reach behind the headlight to remove the cap covering the bulb and disconnect the electrical connector. You can now extract the blown bulb by slightly twisting it to unlock it, and replace it with a new one before repositioning everything. If necessary, repeat the same procedure for the other headlight.
