How to Reset the Service Light on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

To reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Tiguan, turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once the ignition is on, navigate through the menu using the button on the right-hand side of the steering wheel until you find "Settings". Select it with the button below the lever, then proceed to select "Service" and subsequently "Reset": this will completely clear the Service light from the instrument cluster, which can then be turned off by turning the key in the ignition again.
