How to Reset the Engine Light on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

When the engine light appears on the dashboard of the Volkswagen Tiguan, it indicates a generic problem with the vehicle's injection system: therefore, you need to identify the cause of the light by performing a diagnosis. This can be done by connecting a diagnostic tool to the OBD port: once the scanner is connected, you can identify the error code that is causing the light to illuminate and reset it. Once the error code is removed, you can disconnect the scanner and check that the light is off.
