Replacement of Front Brake Caliper

Damage to brake calipers is not a frequent failure, but overheating during braking and often corrosion caused by driving on salted snowy roads can lead to breakage. Replacing the caliper is a straightforward task: lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel, unclip the outer spring attached to the caliper, remove the protective caps from the caliper fastening pins, and unscrew the pins to detach the caliper from its support and disconnect the brake fluid pipe. Then, attach the pipe to the new caliper, secure it to the support, reattach the outer spring, and perform the bleeding.
