This useful tutorial shows you in a few simple steps how to reset the service light, which indicates the remaining life of the engine oil, on a Volkswagen Golf Mk5, produced from 2003 to 2008. Start this operation by pressing and holding the "0.0" button located on the right side of the speedometer, then turn the ignition key to the first position. Release the "0.0" button and press the "MIN" button situated on the left side of the speedometer to complete the reset.
