To change the language of the on-board computer on a Volkswagen Passat, turn on the instrument cluster to enable the use of the controls on the display located in the centre of the dashboard: here, press the SETUP button and then select the "System" option via the touch screen controls. At this point, press the option next to "Language" to open a list of languages that can be selected for the on-board computer: once the desired language is selected, you can return to the home screen, confirming the change.
