How to Disable the Start&Stop on the Volkswagen Golf?

To disable the Start&Stop on the Volkswagen Golf, press the dedicated button located on the centre console, featuring the A icon within a circular arrow: this is a temporary disablement, which will be interrupted when the engine is turned off. To permanently disable the system, you will need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port located under the steering column: using the VCDS software, you can follow the tutorial instructions to completely disable the system.
