Where are the fuses located in the Volkswagen Golf 5?

All the fuses in the Volkswagen Golf 5 are divided within the designated fuse boxes installed in the car. The first box is located in the engine compartment, and you will need to lift the plastic cover to access it. In this box, you will find the fuses for the alternator, engine cooling fan, etc. The second box is located inside the cabin, on the left side of the dashboard, accessible only by opening the driver's door: inside, you will find the fuses for the air conditioning, windscreen wipers, etc.
