Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf V, MK 5, Golf 5 - Years 2003-2008
Part: Clutch
Operation: How do you replace the clutch of the Volkswagen Golf 5?

In order to replace the clutch of the Volkswagen Golf 5, you need to lift the car with a jack or a lift, so that you can unscrew the bolts that secure the right front wheel and remove it completely. Once the wheel has been removed, you can proceed by unscrewing the two half shafts and accessing the bolts that secure the gearbox to the appropriate supports; the gearbox can be removed from its housing, locating the clutch pressure plate on the side of the engine block. The pressure plate must now be extracted, disconnecting the old clutch from the diaphragm spring; at this point, you can insert the new clutch, reassembling all the removed components.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
