Rear Headlight Bulb, Brake Light, and Indicator Replacement

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

To replace the bulbs of the rear lights, you need to dismantle the entire light assembly. The screw is accessible on the side of the boot after removing the large plastic cover by prying it with a plastic tool in the designated slot. Unscrew the retaining knob screw of the headlight located under the cover and remove the light unit by disconnecting the connectors. Carefully remove the bulb holder and replace the faulty bulb by pressing it slightly and turning it anti-clockwise until it releases. Refit the new bulb using one with the same specifications. Reposition the light assembly in its housing by connecting the respective connector. Carefully tighten the fixing screw and close the plastic cover.
