Cabin Air Filter Replacement

To access the cabin filter, you essentially need to dismantle part of the dashboard; the only tool required is a Torx key size 20.
First, remove the central cover located at the centre of the dashboard by sliding it backwards and pulling it out. Using the Torx key size 20, unscrew the two fixing screws of the right side panel of the dashboard and detach it from its seat, noting that there are fixing clips both above and below.
Now, remove the 6 screws (2 at the front and 4 at the back) securing the dashboard reinforcement panel, lift it and extract it (you may encounter some difficulty due to the position of the panel).
At this point, you can see the cabin air filter: to remove it, disengage the retaining spring and pull it out.
Then extract the filter from the plastic support and insert the new one, ensuring the airflow direction is correct. Refit the new filter in its designated seat by inserting the rear part first and then the front part, and reattach the retaining spring. Reinstall the reinforcement panel and secure it by tightening the 6 fixing screws.
Finally, reattach the previously removed dashboard panel, first seating the two plastic pegs on the right side edge into their respective slots; then screw in the two fixing screws.
Lastly, reposition the central cover and secure it by sliding it back into place.
